This suburban homeowner was an accomplished garden who loved the native Illinois plant palette along with many other plants.  Her backyard was full of Cone flowers (Echinacea) and Poplar trees, and shrubs.  When she decided to extend her garden into what felt like a wasted large front lawn, she also decided that she needed the eye of a trained landscape designer.
